I want to feel free spirited again.

Just thinking about when I use to live in Spokane Washington. I got in a fight with my then boyfriend and decided to jump in his brand new car and drive 5 hrs to Seattle while he was at work at the fire station for two days. It was a beautiful drive. I went downtown parked the car in one of those pay and park parkinglots. I walked did some shopping got back in the car and drove across the bridge to Bellevue found a hotel. I then went to a 7eleven brought a phone card and called my mom. Hung up the phone cried myself to sleep. Woke up the next morning don’t remember the drive back to Spokane, but I felt 100% better. I was 23/24yrs at the time. I remember the scenery so vivid in my mind, very beautiful the mountains large and and a little frightening to me but at the same time it gave me a motivating energy. I wish i was still spontaneous like that still. Away with being Stagnant and in comes the free spirit Marie I use to be.  What happened?

RIP MICHAEL JACKSON

i was on the plane landing in Detroit thursday afternoon just finished listening to Lady in my life. Everyone’s cell phone goes off I hear a lady in back of me say Michael Jackson is dead. I say Huhhhh? She says it again and I hear others say it and the girl next to me cell phone goes off, her friend text her with the same news.

Iran Wants Freedom: Is freedom paid for in blood?

So I was just on twitter and I clicked on a link my friend Paulo posted of a friend of his trying to ressucitate Neda a young girl shot Dead by Police/Basij militia in Tehran June 20 2009. I thought to myself should I post this its graphic, and its sad! Then I realized that her death can not be in vain. The public has got to see what is happening in Iran what is done in the dark will be revealed in the light.  The people do have a voice and a right!

RIP Neda. My prayers are out to her family and friends. God Bless.

I noticed in the comments on the video on youtube that a person said “freedom is paid for in blood”.  Is this true?  I think so…..
